Can you present yourself?

My Tiger My Timing are James Vincent (vocals/bass/guitar), Anna Vincent (vocals/keys), Harrison (vocals/bass/guitar) and Gary Drain (vocals/drums). The band are from New Cross in south east London and formed in early 2008 with a plan to make experimental pop music with strong rhythms and melodies.


What are your influences ?

Some of our influences are Arthur Russell, Fun Boy Three, Talking Heads and Orange Juice and we also like new bands like Plugs, Late of the Pier, John & Jehn, Esser and Lykke Li.


Kool ?

My Tiger My Timing are kool because we aren't afraid to experiment with pop music and we know how to write songs that people will fall in love with. Lobster Quadrille Magazine said we are a bit geeky and a bit sexy. Maybe that's just being English.


Kiss ?
We are inspired by London streets, by our hearts, by buildings, parties, black holes and space, but mainly we love music. We put that love into our work so other people can feel it too.
